In 2008, the Government of Ethiopia together with its partners set up the three-year long National Nutrition Programme (NNP). The NNP was revised in 2013 and extended until 2015 to coincide with the reporting against the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the Growth and Transformation Programme (GTP) targets as well as the Health Sector Development Plan IV.
